About the role

POP MART, a leading global company in the trend culture and entertainment industry, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to contribute to its continuous expansion across the United States. This position involves managing store operations, ensuring a positive customer and employee experience, and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Brand Associates setting expectations, goals, and developing talent
  • Act as the manager on duty in the store, focusing on delivering results while enabling a positive customer and employee experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers, employees, and store products
  • Set high store standards that reflect company brand image, values, and culture
  • Subject matter expert on POP MART core business information including POP MART's characters information, products, company history information
  • Support company on marketing events such as in-store events, pop-up events, conventions, and new store openings
  • Support company RoboShop business as needed and follow up with in-store RoboShop employees and RoboShop business partners as needed
  • Improve sales performance of stores and meet sales key performance indicators such as store conversion, units per transaction, dollars per transaction, store sales trends
  • Drive sales of company key products such as Blind boxes, MEGA, and accessories
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays

Qualifications

  • Retail industry knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to lift large boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver great customer experience
  • More than 2 years of store leadership experience in retail
  • High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
  • Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement new standardization directives
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be 18 years old or older

Physical Requirements

  • Able to regularly lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift)
  • Able to bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders or step stools safely
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging items, and stocking shelves
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment that may require quick movements and multitasking
  • Able to work in varying temperature conditions, including stockroom and receiving areas
  • Manual dexterity required to operate standard stockroom tools (e.g., box cutters)
