Retail Assistant Store Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with relevant experience to support operational and customer-facing tasks in the store. Key responsibilities include managing a team, ensuring store operations, maintaining cleanliness and safety, enhancing customer and employee experiences, and driving sales performance.

Qualifications

• Retail industry knowledge, skills, and abilities
• More than 2 years of store leadership experience in retail
• High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
• Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to implement effective solutions
• Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma
• Age 18 or older

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.
• Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift)
• Bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing safely
• Performing repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging items, and stocking shelves
• Working in a fast-paced environment with quick movements and multitasking
• Working in varying temperature conditions, including stockroom and receiving areas
• Manual dexterity to operate standard stockroom tools
