Retail Assistant Manager

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Responsibilities

• Absorbs management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assists the Store Manager in ordering merchandise, record keeping, including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts.
• Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates on Goodwill of Kentucky operating practices and procedures.
• Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service and ensuring a well-stocked store.
• Supports the Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.
• Fulfills all Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in retail or manufacturing operations.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving.
• Ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.
