Retail Assistant Manager

Responsibilities
- Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Assist the Store Manager in ordering merchandise, record-keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits/receipts).
- Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on Goodwill of Kentucky operating practices and procedures under the direction of the Store Manager.
- Maintain a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service and ensuring a well-stocked store.
- Support the Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.
- Follow all Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in retail or manufacturing operations.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
- Prior management experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving, including placing products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.

Pay
$15.00 per hour.
Schedule
Full-Time. Store hours: Monday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
