Key Responsibilities
- Drive wholesale sales growth by prospecting new accounts, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring consistent product sell-through.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive wholesale sales strategy, including territory management, sales targets, and performance tracking.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and product presentations to order fulfillment and client follow-up.
- Conduct outreach to new dispensaries and retail partners, offering samples, product education, and customized sales solutions.
- Represent the company at trade shows, product demos, and industry events to showcase offerings and build brand awareness.
- Collaborate with leadership to create sales materials, training resources, and product guides for clients.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular updates on progress toward revenue goals.
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale clients, ensuring top-tier service and satisfaction.
- Manage client communications, including product recommendations, order inquiries, and issue resolution.
- Track and analyze client buying patterns to identify growth opportunities and recommend reorder strategies.
- Build long-term partnerships that foster loyalty, repeat business, and market expansion.
Operational & Compliance Coordination
- Ensure accurate wholesale manifests, transfers, and compliance documentation in coordination with internal operations teams.
- Work closely with inventory and logistics teams to ensure accurate product availability and timely delivery.
- Stay up to date on all state cannabis regulations and ensure all sales activities remain fully compliant.
Sales Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast demand, and refine strategy.
- Provide leadership with detailed reporting on account activity, revenue growth, and market insights.
- Monitor product performance across clients and adjust sales tactics based on market demand and feedback.
