About the Role
Our season kicks off in April and runs through November, with the possibility of extending into December. As a seasonal team member, you’ll enjoy winters off to travel, hunt, fish, or pursue the activities you love—while still keeping your benefits all year long. As a Retail Aggregate Delivery Driver, you are responsible for operating commercial dump trucks and maintaining them to transport material to designated locations in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B end dump truck to transport aggregate to job site, often driving on uneven or unfinished surfaces.
- Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition.
- Maintain driver log according to ICC regulations as required.
- May operate loader to load aggregate into truck box.
- Perform daily maintenance of equipment such as cleaning truck inside and out, greasing, oiling, brakes, lights, and any other maintenance instructed.
- Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment.
- Tarp load when needed.
- Clean spilled material/buildup off box (spill chutes, belts, side boards, etc.).
- Verify that gates are closed.
- Complete load tickets.
- Spread product.
- Maintain proper information in truck cab pouch.
- Report information accurately and completely on daily timecards, truck cab information, and other needed paperwork.
- Maintain and support a safe and harassment-free work environment.
- Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance and attend required training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED, or high school diploma or equivalent.
- CDL Minimum Class B.
- Must have and maintain medical card and acceptable driving record and required endorsements.
Preferred Qualifications
- CDL Class A.

- Ability to read maps and navigate to new locations.
- Must be self-motivated, a team-player with excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous and respectful toward others.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and recognize matters needing attention, initiating action on that recognition.
Pay
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour depending on experience.
