Retail Account Manager

Summary Of Primary Functions

Dobbs Equipment is seeking a Retail Account Manager (RAM) to sell, rent, and lease John Deere Compact Equipment. The RAM will focus on selling the full product line of John Deere CCE (Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, Compact Track Loaders, Compact Wheel loaders) and their attachments. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Prospecting: Identify new and dormant accounts to drive equipment sales and revenue in the compact construction equipment segment.
• Welcome and greet potential customers at the dealership, listen to their requirements, and make equipment recommendations.
• Make adequate calls per day to assigned accounts to generate sales leads and promote dealership products and services.
• Quote and negotiate prices, credit and financial terms, and complete necessary documentation to finalize sales processes.
• Maintain updated customer records and reports in CRM/Dynamics, including calls, leads, quotes, and customer management.
• Provide demonstrations and machine walk-arounds to customers at the dealership.
• Meet or exceed company targets for calls and sales quota.
• Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and technology.
• Evaluate used equipment to determine trade-in values when requested.
• Adhere to safety policies and follow all client safety policies.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Strong communication skills, including persuasive and negotiation abilities.
• Customer service experience.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
• PC literate, proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel, Outlook, and Dynamics.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions.
• Usually quiet noise level in the work environment.
