About the Team

This position supports the Restructuring & Dispute Resolution group, which provides a wide suite of services to clients. As a member of this team, you’ll interact with team members across all levels within the practice, gaining opportunities to learn, grow, and build your skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and document review.
  • Produce materials in preparation of findings, expert reports, and results of investigations.
  • Prepare information and analysis to help businesses and their counsel analyze profits, costs, cash flows, market trends, valuations, and other relevant data.
  • Recognize project issues and risks, and escalate them to management.
  • Interact directly with attorneys and/or client personnel, demonstrating business knowledge to instill confidence.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to meet client needs, including up to 25% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in forensic accounting, litigation support, insolvency accounting (including creditor committee and/or debtor bankruptcies), financial fraud investigation, financial modeling, ratio and comparable company analysis, or preparation/review/analysis of financial statements and projections.
  • CFA, CPA, CFE, or CIRA certification preferred.
  • Experience assessing business plans.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to extract useful information from large sets of unorganized or incomplete data.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-starter with an action-oriented, decisive approach and willingness to take a hands-on role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.

Work Arrangement

This position is considered remote, meaning job duties do not require proximity to a CohnReznick office. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to attend a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

Pay

In New York, the salary range for a Senior Associate is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of CohnReznick’s total rewards package, which also includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms.
