About the role
As a Restorative Nursing Aide you are instrumental in improving the lives of our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara North by performing mobility exercises in accordance with individualized care plans, assisting residents to attain the highest physical and emotional wellbeing, and providing compassionate support.
Responsibilities
- Perform mobility exercises for residents according to their individualized care plans.
- Assist residents in achieving optimal physical and emotional wellbeing by restoring mobility.
- Carry out Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for residents.
- Assist residents with the use of assistive devices.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
- Maintain a safe environment for residents.
- Provide education to residents as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate.
- C.P.R. certification.
- Preferably one (1) year of Restorative Nursing Aide experience (training provided for the right candidate).
