About the role
AristaCare at East Falls is seeking compassionate Assistants with Restorative Care experience to join our team. In this role, you will assist our Residents with daily living activities and support their overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities including bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and eating.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any changes in condition.
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems for efficient patient management and documentation.
- Conduct vital sign assessments and report findings to nursing staff.
- Apply knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- C.N.A. Certification in PA (Required).
- CPR and BLS certification.
- Experience in long-term care or a nursing facility is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in senior care environments is highly desirable.
- Preferably with rehab experience.
