What You'll Do

  • Assist residents with individualized restorative nursing programs
  • Encourage residents to achieve and maintain their highest practical level of independence
  • Ambulate, transfer, position, and assist with mobility
  • Perform and assist with range-of-motion exercises
  • Support residents with prosthetic and adaptive devices
  • Aid with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Provide individualized encouragement and support throughout restorative activities
  • Observe residents for changes in condition, ability, or tolerance and report concerns appropriately
  • Complete electronic and/or written documentation accurately and on time
  • Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and comfort

What We're Looking For

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Restorative nursing or long-term care experience preferred
  • Interest in rehabilitation, mobility, and helping residents maintain independence
  • Patient, encouraging, and positive approach to resident care
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the position
