Restorative Aide

About the Role

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Restorative Aide implements treatment plans recommended by a licensed physical therapist and is responsible for implementing basic restorative care programs and rehabilitative programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe restorative care of the resident
• Performs documentation on flow sheets and other applicable forms of all restorative care activities
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly resident environment by keeping work area clean and disposing of soiled, contaminated items
• Reports malfunctioning, broken or hazardous equipment or conditions to supervisor or safety officer
• Observes policies and procedures as demonstrated through performance of procedures and tasks
• Provides restorative programs:
  • Splint Program
  • Dining Program
  • High Steppers (ambulation) Program
  • LYFE Today (Living Your Life to its Fullest Everyday) Program
  • Reach (range of motion) Program
• Observes resident's condition and reports changes to supervisor
• Provides one-on-one training

Qualifications

• Graduate of state approved Nursing Assistant Program certified by Maryland Registry
• Must have a current CNA-1 License from the state of Maryland

Pay

Competitive Pay $17.54-25.00/hr. The salary mentioned reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.
