Restoration Technician
About the role
BoomZeal Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Restoration Technician to join our team. This position plays a vital role in restoring homes and lives with urgency, efficiency, and honest care.
Responsibilities
- Performs restoration work with a focus on precision, quality, and safety
- Ensures all tasks meet or exceed industry standards and NYS compliance regulations
- Driving company vehicles
- Communicates proactively with team members, clients, and project managers to ensure clarity and alignment
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Takes ownership of your work, identifying and resolving issues before they impact the client
- Continuously seeks ways to improve processes, skills, and the overall client experience
- Upholds the company’s commitment to urgency, empathy, and integrity on every job
- Ensure each project contributes to restoring the property fully and exceeds client expectations
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in restoration clean up (water, mold and fire damage) and eager to learn
- Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification (must be obtained within first 3 months of hire)
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Exceptional communication (listening, speaking and writing), analytical and organizational skills
- Proactive and self-motivated leadership skills and qualities
- Familiarity with a restoration, construction or insurance-related industry
- Self-starter with strong time management and prioritization abilities
- Understanding of water, fire, mold, and/or structural restoration processes, preferred
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation 24/7
- Able to work flexible, longer hours during emergency situations
- Able to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Compensation
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
