Restoration Technician
About the role
PuroClean Charleston is expanding and seeking a motivated, dependable Technician to support residential and commercial restoration projects. We welcome both experienced and entry-level applicants; training and certifications are available. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager to help homes and businesses recover from water, fire, and mold damage while building technical skills for a long-term career in the restoration industry.

Responsibilities
- Assist with water extraction, drying, demolition, cleaning, and mold remediation.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.).
- Maintain clean job sites and safe working conditions.
- Accurately record moisture readings, job notes, and daily progress.
- Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and supervisors.
- Follow IICRC standards, safety policies, and company procedures.
- Be available for after-hours or weekend emergency calls (rotating schedule).
Requirements
- No prior restoration experience required — training provided.
- Construction, cleaning, or labor experience a plus.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn (non-negotiable).
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check (insurance rules may affect eligibility).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions (attics, crawlspaces, outdoor environments).
Pay
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
