Restoration Technician

We are a locally owned business leading the industry in property water mitigation, mold remediation, fire cleaning, trauma/biohazard clean-up, and reconstruction, with a specialization in insurance work. Established in 2008, we are rapidly growing and need a dependable team player.

About the role

This entry-level position involves responding to emergency water damage recovery situations and performing a variety of tasks related to the cleaning and restoration of damaged properties. We provide 24-hour emergency services, seven days a week, so you must be available to work late hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency water damage recovery situations
• Treat every customer and their home with respect
• Assist Crew Chief in extracting water and removing damaged materials
• Help set up drying equipment
• Monitor progress of jobs
• Perform cleaning and other related activities
• Lift and move furniture and equipment (up to 100 lbs) daily
• Maintain legible handwriting and complete daily paperwork
• Learn and adapt to new computer software, which may change monthly

Requirements

• Ability to work long hours, including at least 20 hours of overtime most weeks
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Ability to lift 100 lbs
• Valid driver’s license
• US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Available for on-call emergency services

Qualifications

Preferred (but not required):

• Service or construction background
• IICRC and NADCA certification for Water
• Prior training or experience in water remediation
