Restoration Technician
BluSky Restoration is looking for a full-time Restoration Technician to respond to emergencies and restore residential and commercial properties.
About the role
As a first responder on property loss situations, you’ll help mitigate damage through water extraction, structural board-up, cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack-outs, and more. This role involves occasional travel (less than 25% of the time) and on-call availability.
Responsibilities
- Water extraction and mitigation
- Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
- Microbial remediation
- Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up
- Demolition
- Field management and supervision of temporary labor personnel
- Provide empathetic, high-level customer service
- All other assigned duties or projects
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day
- 1 year of restoration industry or maintenance experience preferred (not required)
Work Environment & Physical Demands
The role involves occasional lifting/moving of up to 25 pounds. Employees regularly sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, hear, and move/walk around job sites. Noise levels are usually quiet. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Pay
Competitive base pay of $15–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
