Restoration Technician

BluSky Restoration is looking for a full-time Restoration Technician to respond to emergencies and restore residential and commercial properties.

About the role

As a first responder on property loss situations, you’ll help mitigate damage through water extraction, structural board-up, cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack-outs, and more. This role involves handling emergencies with empathy and delivering the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Water extraction and mitigation
• Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
• Microbial remediation
• Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up
• Demolition (Demo Day!)
• Field management and supervision of temporary labor personnel
• Provide empathetic customer service
• All other assigned duties or projects

Requirements

• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day
• 1 year of restoration industry or maintenance experience preferred (not required)

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The work environment is usually quiet. Physical demands include:

• Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
• Regularly sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing
• Required to move and walk around the office regularly

Occasional travel (less than 25% of the time), including out-of-area and overnight travel for training or meetings.

Pay

Competitive base pay between $15 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.
