Restoration Specialist (Water/Fire Damage)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Restoration Specialists to support emergency and scheduled restoration projects across our property portfolio.

This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, appointment-based scheduling, including potential emergency response work. Jobs are assigned based on property needs, allowing you to accept work that fits your availability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, and/or mold damage incidents
• Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes
• Remove and dispose of damaged materials safely
• Clean, sanitize, and restore affected areas
• Assess damage and document findings for reporting purposes
• Work efficiently to mitigate further property damage
• Communicate job status, findings, and completion updates

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Prior experience in water, fire, and/or mold restoration (required)
• IICRC certification (preferred)
• Must have your own tools and restoration equipment (drying equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, etc., or access to them)
• Knowledge of moisture detection, mitigation, and remediation processes
• Able to respond to emergency service calls when needed
• Understanding of safety protocols and proper handling of damaged materials
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
