Restoration Services Team Leader

About the role

Work in a variety of jobsite locations including commercial, residential, and institutional locations starting daily from our corporate offices in Oakmont Pennsylvania.
Lead a team to provide specialty cleaning and restorations services to property damaged by fire, water, smoke as well as non-disaster related cleaning type services.
This is a position that will perform a wide variety of job duties that require moderate to extensive physical movement and activity.

Responsibilities

  • Train in classroom, self-paced online, and on-the-job settings.
  • Work days typically start at 7am with some Saturday work required.
  • Service work includes wall washing, floor cleaning, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and specialty sanitizing, deodorizing, and decontamination processes.
  • Use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) during various work processes.
  • Communicate with customers, fellow workers, and management team daily and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Travel to various jobsites using company-supplied vehicles.
  • Use specialty cleaning and restoration products and professional equipment to achieve outstanding results.
  • Part of an emergency on-call team available one week out of every four weeks to provide world-class service to clients with emergency needs after hours.

Requirements

  • Two years experience leading and supervising cleaning or restoration teams.
  • Ability and willingness to be responsible and accountable for both your work and your team's work.
  • Experience working in homes or commercial sites providing service or construction type work.
  • Experience in Water Damage or Fire Damage Restoration Industry highly desired.
  • Willingness to work unsupervised and deliver consistent work effort and results.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and crawl as part of the work process.
  • Able to carry up to 50lbs.
  • Able to participate in an on-call program as part of the team.
  • Able to follow detailed processes and have good attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastically willing to learn new work processes.
  • Willing to help people.
  • Able to maintain great work attendance.
  • Able to work overtime occasionally.
  • Ability to navigate basic phone apps and possess a Smart Phone.
  • Current IICRC certifications desired but not required.
  • A desire to advance personal work career by learning and growing with a great company.

Qualifications

  • Valid and insurable Pennsylvania Drivers License.
  • Must pass criminal background screening.
  • Must pass drug screen testing.

Skills

  • Ability to work with company-provided PPE including protective clothing, goggles, gloves, and respirators.
  • Ability to climb a step ladder four steps up or work on a ladder to 12 ft.
  • Ability to carry up to 50lb loads for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb steps and traverse uneven sidewalks and landscape.
  • Ability to work inside and outside occasionally.

Pay

Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
