Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations and condition assessments of existing buildings, identifying structural and building envelope deficiencies.
  • Deliver rehabilitation, restoration, and repair projects from investigation and design through construction support and site observation.
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications, ensuring projects are on time and within budget.
  • Build strong client relationships, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development and practice growth.

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license with experience in structural engineering, building restoration, rehabilitation, or existing buildings.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural systems, façades, waterproofing, and building envelope assemblies.
  • Proven experience managing engineering projects from investigation through construction, with excellent communication skills.
  • Client-focused professional seeking a long-term opportunity within a collaborative, employee-owned consultancy.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience in structural rehabilitation, building envelope restoration, or existing building consulting.
