About The Role

As the Restaurant Shift Lead, you will shape the success of Miss J's Cafe. Your primary responsibility is to oversee daily operations, ensuring guests enjoy delicious meals and exceptional service. You’ll foster a vibrant and motivated team, ensuring everyone's contribution shines through in the experience we offer.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by ensuring every guest is greeted with warmth and receives top-notch service throughout their visit.
• Recruit, train, and develop your team, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed and grow in their roles.
• Maintain high standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness, ensuring Miss J's Cafe operates smoothly and efficiently at all times.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and maximize profits, while analyzing financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with culinary staff to enhance menu offerings, introduce seasonal items, and ensure consistency in food presentation and quality.
• Implement strategies to attract new customers and engage with the local community through exciting events and promotions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or cafe environment.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing a diverse team.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and the ability to handle customer feedback positively.
• Good understanding of restaurant financials, budgeting, and cost control measures.
• Ability to assess challenges quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with guests and team members effectively.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
