Restaurant Team Member - Cook

About the role

Noodles and Company is seeking Team Members to join our back-of-house kitchen crew as cooks and line cooks. You will prepare fresh ingredients, cook dishes to order, and ensure consistency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes to order
• Ensure each dish is made with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation
• Follow recipes, prep guides, and standard procedures accurately
• Learn and refine kitchen and sauté skills through hands-on training
• Maintain pace during peak hours and support smooth kitchen flow
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where communication matters
• Manage multiple tasks effectively to meet guest expectations during busy shifts
• Work safely around kitchen equipment, heat, and steam
• Use kitchen tools, timers, and basic systems as part of daily routines
• Keep the restaurant clean and organized while following food safety and sanitation standards
• Bring dependability, positivity, and a supportive attitude to every shift
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 55 pounds, and performing routine restaurant tasks
• Obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old

Qualifications

• Dependable, positive, and supportive attitude
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, reach, lift up to 55 pounds, and perform routine restaurant tasks
• Physical ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge
