About the role
Noodles and Company is seeking Team Members to join our back-of-house kitchen crew as cooks and line cooks. Your responsibilities include preparing fresh ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes to order.
- Ensure each dish is made with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation.
- Follow recipes, prep guides, and standard procedures accurately.
- Learn and refine kitchen and sauté skills through hands-on training.
- Maintain pace during peak hours and support smooth kitchen flow.
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where communication matters.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively to meet guest expectations during busy shifts.
- Work safely around kitchen equipment, heat, and steam.
- Use kitchen tools, timers, and basic systems as part of daily routines.
- Keep the restaurant clean and organized while following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Bring dependability, positivity, and a supportive attitude to every shift.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 55 pounds, and performing routine tasks.
Requirements
No prior experience with a sauté pan is necessary; we provide paid training. Must be at least 16 years old.
Qualifications
- Dependable, positive attitude, and a supportive work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Basic computer skills.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 55 pounds, and performing routine tasks.
