About the role

LV Petroleum-iHOP is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our kitchen team at 470 Frontage RD, Mineral Wells, WV 26150. Walk-in interviews are welcome weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while working alongside a talented group of chefs in a fast-paced setting, preparing delicious meals, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and contributing to a fun, team-oriented atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and high-quality standards
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring all hygiene and safety practices are met
• Collaborate with the team to guarantee timely and efficient meal service
• Assist in managing food inventory and supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen
• Engage with the team, bringing positivity and a willingness to learn or share culinary techniques
• Be open to adding your personal touch to menu items and contributing to the cuisine's evolution

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role is a plus, but passionate beginners are welcome
• A love for cooking and a great attitude toward teamwork
• Basic knowledge of cooking methods and food safety guidelines
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, bustling kitchen environment
• Good communication skills and a keen willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed
