About the Role
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible and accountable for administration, operation, and direct management of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the restaurant.
- Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate the restaurant.
- Developing servers, host, cashiers and utility staff to include training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.
- Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary.
- Review departmental status with Manager.
- Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
- Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to analyze and interpret operation results.

- Ability to perform assigned duties under pressures.
- Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation.
- A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule.
- Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.
- Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Three (3) years' experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing and inventory control.
- Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work long hours.
- Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily.
- Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
- Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
