About the role
The Restaurant Supervisor (RS) at HomeState is a non-exempt position responsible for overseeing restaurant operations, supporting team members, and preparing for a management role. This role embodies HomeState's culture, mission, and core values, focusing on guest focus, action orientation, resilience, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the community ambassador to build strong guest relationships and deliver hospitality-centric solutions.
- Take on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency, manage time efficiently, and consistently achieve results.
- Ensure the smooth execution of restaurant operations by monitoring attendance, breaks, cash management, shift reports, ordering, inventory, waste log, restaurant emails, and other supervisory tasks as assigned.
- Participate in hiring, scheduling, progressive counseling, disciplinary actions, or terminations as needed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in the restaurant industry with a guest-facing lead role.
- A manager Food Safety Certification or the ability to pass the test if provided.
- A personable demeanor and enjoyment of working with guests and leading a diverse team.
- A passion for food, hospitality, and providing an exemplary guest experience with strong English speaking skills.
- Availability to work a minimum of five days per week, with potential for extended hours, weekends, day shifts, and evening shifts.
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance and be available for all scheduled shifts, training, and meetings.
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position for long periods, lift/push/pull up to 30 pounds, bend and reach overhead, recognize and comprehend spatial cues, and regularly move around the restaurant.

Pay
$25.00 per hour, no tips.
Schedule
