About the role

Located in Johnson City, Texas, Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa offers authentic Texan hospitality. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all property food and beverage operations, while assisting in maintaining a profitable Food & Beverage department and high quality products and service levels.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and direct Restaurant, Bar and Room Service operations and activities to ensure a positive experience to all guests
  • Supervise staff, assist management, and coordinate all service personnel to maximize departmental productivity, while maintaining standards and exceeding customer expectations
  • Be present on the floor to ensure all Food and Beverage is served as per Hotel Standards
  • Assist with implementing new menus and training team members on menu knowledge and SOP's
  • Ensure that the facility remains in compliance with safety regulations and health codes
  • Assist in responding to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects
  • Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the various outlet areas and equipment to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service
  • Supervise and handle all F&B needs for any events or functions and participate in BEO meetings
  • Assist with planning and executing all events
  • Coordinates with the event host on all aspects of the banquet function
  • Perform planning and organization functions for the banquet department
  • Maintain relationships with vendors including, but not limited to, rental companies, entertainment suppliers, and transportation companies
  • Maintain timely and effective paper flow and communication within the sales and catering area, as well as with other departments
  • Support Sales Team as requested
  • Coordinate Sales Department and other in-house events
  • Maintain constant contact with the banquet chef, to ensure conclusion between food production and food service
  • Responsible for accepting and accurately recording payments for events and deposits
  • Set up, execution, and break down of resort events
  • Assist with amenities and welcome note cards
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned

Requirements

Two years of related experience or equivalent. Current knowledge of regional and national trends in food and beverage. Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.

Schedule

Able to work varied schedule that includes: mornings, mid-day, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
