Restaurant Shift Manager

About the role

Noodles & Company is seeking Shift Managers to lead and support their teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing shifts, leading teams, and ensuring high-quality food and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members during busy shifts and peak hours.
• Support and coach team members, recognizing their contributions and celebrating successes.
• Delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth service and strong results.
• Own open, mid, or close routines for the shift and set up the next shift.
• Communicate clearly with the team and address issues as they arise.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 55 pounds.

Requirements

• Previous leadership or management experience (preferred).
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant operations.
• Ability to lead with energy, positivity, and consistency, especially during busy shifts and peak hours.
• Willingness to support and lead across both front- and back-of-house operations.
• Physical ability to perform routine restaurant tasks, including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications.
• Age 18 or older.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.

USD $14.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
