Restaurant Shift Manager

About the role

Noodles & Company is seeking Shift Managers to lead and support their teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires previous leadership or management experience, along with a background in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a successful shift by managing team dynamics and ensuring smooth service.
• Support, coach, and motivate team members, especially during busy shifts and peak hours.
• Uphold and model food safety, quality, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient service and strong results.
• Owning open, mid, or close routines for your shift and preparing the next shift for success.
• Recognize and celebrate team members' contributions and shift wins.
• Communicate clearly with your team and address issues promptly.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications.

Requirements

• Previous leadership or management experience (preferred).
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant operations.
• Ability and willingness to support and lead across both front- and back-of-house.
• Energy, positivity, and consistency during busy shifts and peak hours.
• Physical requirements including standing for long periods, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Able to obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications.
• At least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

USD $18.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
