About the role

Noodles & Company is seeking Shift Managers to lead and support their teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires previous leadership or management experience, along with customer service and hospitality skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a successful shift by managing team dynamics and ensuring smooth service.
  • Support, coach, and motivate team members, especially during busy shifts and peak hours.
  • Uphold and model food safety, quality, cleanliness, and operational standards.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient service and strong results.
  • Owning open, mid, or close routines and preparing the next shift for success.
  • Recognize and celebrate team members' contributions and shift wins.
  • Communicate clearly with the team and address issues promptly.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 55 pounds.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership or management experience (preferred).
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant operations.
  • The ability and willingness to support and lead across both front- and back-of-house roles.
  • Energy, positivity, and consistency, especially during busy shifts and peak hours.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications.
  • Able to stand for long periods, bend, twist, reach, lift up to 55 pounds, and perform routine restaurant tasks.
  • Able to obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.

Pay

USD $13.00 - USD $19.00 /Hr.
