Restaurant Shift Manager

About the role

Noodles & Company is seeking Shift Managers to lead and support their teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires previous leadership or management experience, along with customer service and hospitality background.

Responsibilities

• Lead a successful shift by managing team dynamics and ensuring smooth service.
• Support, coach, and motivate team members during all shifts, especially during busy times.
• Uphold and model food safety, quality, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient service and high performance.
• Owning open, mid, or close routines and preparing the floor for the next shift.
• Recognize and celebrate team members' contributions and successes.
• Communicate clearly with the team and address issues promptly.
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 55 pounds.

Requirements

• Previous leadership or management experience (preferred).
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant operations.
• Ability to lead and support both front- and back-of-house operations.
• Positive attitude and consistent behavior, especially during busy shifts.
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including standing, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain any required food safety licenses or certifications.

Pay

USD $14.50 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
