Restaurant Server - Bartender

Responsibilities

• Mixing traditional and creative cocktails, pouring wine, and serving beer to guests at the bar and in the dining area.
• Greeting customers, offering menu suggestions, taking food and drink orders, and delivering items promptly.
• Stocking inventory, preparing garnishes, cleaning equipment, and organizing the bar area.
• Processing cash and credit card payments, managing tabs, and ensuring accurate financial transactions.
• Checking identification to verify legal age and monitoring guest consumption to prevent over-intoxication.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cocktails, wines, spirits, and proper garnishing techniques.
• A friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport with patrons.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (e.g., kegs, crates).
• The ability to manage multiple tables and bar patrons simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Local, state, or federal certification for serving alcohol (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe).

Pay

$14 - $15/hour

About the Role

We’re off I-271, four miles from the North Chagrin Nature Center. The Cleveland Museum of Art, the Severance Hall concert venue, and the shore of Lake Erie are all within 10 miles. Downtown Cleveland is 20 miles away.
