Restaurant Manager - Times Square EDITION

JF Restaurants is a New York City‑based hospitality group led by Michelin‑starred Chef and Restaurateur John Fraser. The company is seeking a Floor Manager for The Terrace & Outdoor Gardens Restaurant inside the Times Square Edition Hotel. The Floor Manager oversees daily Front of House operations and employees in line with company policies, works concurrently with Back of House, and interacts with dining room guests, fellow employees, and supervisors to ensure gracious hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage the floor during peak service times and events to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Assist in training and supervising staff, ensuring they provide top‑notch service.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and scheduling staff.
• Conduct pre‑service meetings with staff to finalize details and expectations.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain high visibility during service to provide support and address any issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high‑volume restaurant management experience.
• Proven experience working with event execution.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle high‑pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences.
• Familiarity with Forbes service standards and luxury hospitality expectations.
• Basic wine knowledge, including familiarity with key varietals, regions, and making guest recommendations.
• Certification in NYC Food Protection License is required.
• Commitment to compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and Department of Health standards.

Pay

Salary Range: $70,000 USD – $80,000 USD.
