About the role
The Restaurant General Manager at A El Super Restaurant is the top-level supervisor/manager responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including employee selection, development, and performance management. They are also responsible for developing Assistant Managers, Shift Leads, and other employees to achieve sound financial results and ensure the execution of El Super standards, which align with the company's mission, vision, and values. This position reports to the District Manager and Director of Operations.
Responsibilities
- Select, develop, and manage employees to meet P&L goals
- Develop and train Assistant Managers, Shift Leads, and other staff
- Ensure adherence to El Super standards and company policies
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to achieve financial success
Requirements
- Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar field
- Proven track record of achieving financial goals and maintaining high standards of service
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop teams
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

$X per hour or $Y per shift, depending on experience and qualifications
