About the role

This is a full-scope restaurant leadership role where you are responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while leading all aspects of the operation during your shift — front of house, back of house, team performance, and execution. If you are a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in caring for both guests and team members, and enjoys running a highly organized, high-performing shift — we would love to meet you.

About Nudy’s Cafés

Nudy’s is a family-owned, growing restaurant group with 15 locations across Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties — and expanding toward 25 units. We are known for:

  • Warm, welcoming hospitality
  • Consistent, high-quality food
  • A loyal, returning guest base
  • Efficient, fast-paced service (30-minute experience)
At our core, we believe success comes from: Hospitality, strong standards, consistent execution, and genuine care for our guests and team

Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the Nudy’s experience every day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Restaurant Experience: Be present in the dining room during peak hours, create a welcoming environment for every guest, and ensure service is warm, attentive, and efficient
  • Oversee the Full Operation: Guide both front-of-house and back-of-house teams and ensure smooth execution from kitchen to dining room
  • Drive Service & Performance: Maintain our 30-minute guest experience standard, support strong pacing, communication, and teamwork, and ensure food is prepared and delivered efficiently and accurately
  • Develop and Support Your Team: Lead daily pre-shift meetings, coach and guide team members, provide clear expectations, and address performance issues with professionalism and care
  • Maintain Food Safety & Cleanliness Standards: Complete daily line checks and temperature logs, ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met, and keep the restaurant guest-ready at all times
  • Support Daily Business Operations: Assist with inventory and product management, handle cash reconciliation and daily reporting, and coordinate staffing flow, breaks, and shift execution

Requirements

REQUIRED:

  • 3–5+ years of restaurant leadership experience
  • Experience working in both dining room and kitchen environments
  • Ability to lead a shift with confidence and accountability
  • Strong understanding of guest experience and service flow, team leadership and coaching, and food safety and cleanliness standards
PREFERRED:
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
  • Experience in high-volume breakfast, brunch, or casual dining environments

Qualifications

This Role May Not Be a Fit If You:

  • Prefer a role focused only on customer service without operational ownership
  • Have only worked in retail or café environments
  • Are not comfortable leading both kitchen and service teams
  • Prefer a more flexible or less structured management role
  • Are not comfortable being active and on your feet throughout the day

Benefits

We offer a rare combination of hospitality-driven culture and quality of life balance, including:

  • Daytime schedule only — no nights
  • Company-paid health insurance (major savings)
  • $5,000 bonus potential
  • Established, family-owned brand (40+ years)
  • Clear growth path: RM → AGM → GM → Multi-Unit
  • Structured operations with strong support systems
  • Growing company with long-term opportunity

Pay

$55,000 base salary, $5,000 bonus potential, company-paid medical & dental benefits, 401(k) with company match, PTO, sick time, and bereavement leave. The total compensation package provides strong overall value beyond base salary.

Schedule
