Restaurant Manager Daytime Only

About the role

The Turning Point is an award‑winning daytime‑only restaurant with hours from 7:30 am to 3 pm. In business for 28 years, it operates locations across NJ, PA, DE, FL, and VA and is growing through both corporate‑owned and franchised stores, offering career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of one shift; no need to ask staff to work a double when closing at 3 pm.
• No close/open shifts for managers.
• Work alongside front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff.
• Conduct a full inventory for each period.
• Full transparency on the restaurant’s financial performance for performance‑based compensation.
• Use fully implemented technology solutions to support job duties.
• Receive timely, helpful support and communication that does not intrude on personal time.
• Relocation opportunities within the states where the company operates.
• Consistently seek out and hire exceptional team members.

• Provide the ideal Turning Point experience for guests from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience preferred (but not required).
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor a team.
• Work effectively in partnerships.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and encouraging leadership attitude.

Pay

Compensation range: $55,000 – $65,000 per year, with the ability to earn more through performance bonuses.

Schedule

Daytime shifts only (7:30 am – 3 pm). Availability to work holidays and weekends required; occasional weekends off possible via approved shift swaps when staffing permits.
