Outlet Operational Responsibilities
- Aid in the training of all food service and bar staff
- Assist in producing the schedule for twenty eight Atlantic/Thoreau’s
- Oversee all daily service operations
- Maintain control of dining reservations through Open Table
- Supervise events in the Private Dining Room
- Collaborate with other food & beverage managers for closing times
- Attend daily BEO meetings and periodic staff meetings
- Develop the twenty eight Atlantic/Thoreau’s team to reduce turnover
- Participate in hiring processes when necessary
- Implement systems and controls to ensure department profitability
- Manage flatware, glassware, linen, and china inventories and protect assets
- Supervise the bar operation and ensure beverage control standards are met
- Coach all food service and bar staff individually
- Train new members of the team, including servers, hostesses, and assistant servers
- Assist with administrative tasks such as menus and POS system updates
- Coordinate with the twenty eight Atlantic GMD for supply management
- Discipline staff according to workplace policies
- Maximize revenues in both outlets and introduce staff incentives
- Train selling techniques and introduce staff to new selling methods
- Assist with pre-meals and communicate issues to staff
- Listen to staff issues and perform staff reviews
Guest Relations Responsibilities
- Departmental leader for resorts
- Establish outlet procedures for all special occasions
- Collaborate with the Executive Office to handle VIP reservations appropriately
- Work closely with outlet management to promote heroic acts and encourage participation
- Establish new and innovative heroic acts for the department
- Work towards a pre-arrival program for all special occasions at twenty eight Atlantic
Salary: $1,400 - $1,700 per week based on experience and qualifications
