About the Role
Direct the work of store employees to create and maintain a profitable environment that delivers best-in-class service, hospitality, and food and beverage to every guest. Manage costs, initiate local store marketing and recruiting efforts, and ensure compliance with company policies, including employment and incident documentation.
Responsibilities
- Teach, motivate, and coach all team members, including kitchen crew and Twin Peaks Girls.
- Proactively recruit and cast Twin Peaks Girls that meet or exceed costume standards, following proper audition and casting guidelines.
- Ensure Steps of Service are followed at all times and motivate staff to provide P.E.A.K.S. service to every table.
- Hold kitchen staff accountable to standards, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Responsibly handle cash, including assigning drawers, computing employee checkouts, and bank deposits.
- Handle issues of alleged discrimination or harassment in accordance with policy, contacting the General Manager and Corporate Office as needed.
- Maintain an atmosphere free of intimidation, discrimination, harassment, poor attitude, or poor work performance.
- Drive sales through collaboration with Managers, Twin Peaks Girls, and other team members to execute operations and local store marketing.
- Coach, counsel, and hold team members accountable to standards, correcting any areas that fall short.
- Maintain organized and updated training schedules, programs, and materials for new employees.
- Execute training and development programs effectively.
- Practice sound inventory control.
- Dress and act professionally daily to set a positive example for all employees.
- Uphold cleanliness standards per Health Code and periodic Quality Assurance Checks.
- Ensure alcohol is served responsibly and in accordance with the law.
Requirements
- Leadership experience in high-volume restaurants and/or bars.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English; Spanish and/or Creole skills are helpful.
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple to multi-step instructions and handle quickly changing situations with many variables.
- Strong mathematical skills for computing change, settling checks, performing employee checkouts, and calculating bank deposits.
Certifications & Training
- Attend and agree to company policies and procedures as outlined in orientation.
- Complete the Twin Peaks Manager training program prior to working a shift without supervision.
- Successfully complete any additional required training, including food and/or alcohol service certifications as mandated by local and state regulations.
Physical Demands
- Regularly stand for up to 10 hours, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and communicate effectively.
- Frequently reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally sit, lift, and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to kitchen fumes or airborne particles.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler) and toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning.
- Noise level is usually loud.
- May be exposed to cigarette or cigar smoke in designated guest smoking areas.
