About the Role

As a Restaurant Manager at Bar Sprezzatura, you will be a hands-on leader in the dining room, driving service excellence, sales, and team development. Working alongside the GM and AGM, you’ll mentor staff, foster guest relations, and ensure operational success with the highest standards and level of hospitality.

Our ideal candidate is a service-focused hospitality leader who will be a hands-on mentor in the dining room with the ability to adapt quickly to changes and create an amazing experience for both our guests and our staff. You will assist in leading all front-of-house operations, driving sales, staff training, guest relations, and working closely with the general manager and assistant GM to further the success of the restaurant. You have expertise in service, multitasking, front-door operations, an impeccable eye for detail, a high level of professionalism, and can execute the standards of a 1-star Michelin establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all front-of-house operations, including service, staff training, and guest relations
  • Drive sales and ensure operational success with the highest standards of hospitality
  • Mentor and develop staff in all areas of food and service education
  • Work closely with the general manager and assistant GM to further the restaurant’s success
  • Maintain familiarity with financial reporting and inventory procedures
  • Uphold safety and hygiene protocols
  • Implement strategic selling techniques

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in a fine-dining, high-volume restaurant, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Advanced knowledge of food and wine (Level 1 Sommelier certification a plus)
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
  • Stamina to work in excess of 40 hours per week

Pay

$55,000–$60,000 per year
