About the Role
A Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of a high-volume, upscale, food-focused restaurant, ensuring exceptional dining experiences through fresh, local ingredients and a positive team environment. You’ll lead staff development, manage P&L goals, and serve as an ambassador for Indigo Road by embracing Internal Hospitality to create memorable experiences for guests.
Responsibilities
- Set the tone for guest experience by leading a positive, collaborative, and fun team environment where everyone is treated with respect and kindness.
- Oversee, maintain, and manage food, drink, and service quality, with a focus on fresh seafood and raw bar offerings.
- Assess, implement, and manage service standards to ensure operational consistency.
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Create and execute strategic business objectives to mitigate risk and maximize profit across recruitment, finance, legal, and restaurant operations (FOH/BOH).
- Develop weekly schedules, control labor, and support ordering/inventory with attention to seasonality and food freshness.
- Partner with FOH and BOH teams to foster a positive and collaborative environment.
- Lead by example in health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the property.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience successfully managing a high-volume, upscale, food-focused restaurant.
- Proven track record of delivering top-notch dining experiences.
- Compassion for people and alignment with Indigo Road’s core values.
- Strong problem-resolution skills and ability to proactively set the team up for success.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to navigate important conversations.
