Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance
  • Schedule staff and foster a positive work culture
  • Maintain positive guest experiences by interacting with customers and handling complaints professionally
  • Control operational costs, minimize waste, and meet financial targets through budgeting and revenue management
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including alcohol service policies
  • Organize, order, and track restaurant supplies and inventory
  • Support marketing efforts and local community engagement

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a restaurant manager, assistant manager, or in a similar role
  • Strong team management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, scheduling software)
  • Deep understanding of food and beverage trends, food safety practices, and budget management
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays, and to work on feet for long periods
  • Must possess or be willing/able to secure proper service certification from the state (restrictions apply)
