Key Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance
- Schedule staff and foster a positive work culture
- Maintain positive guest experiences by interacting with customers and handling complaints professionally
- Control operational costs, minimize waste, and meet financial targets through budgeting and revenue management
- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including alcohol service policies
- Organize, order, and track restaurant supplies and inventory
- Support marketing efforts and local community engagement
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a restaurant manager, assistant manager, or in a similar role
- Strong team management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, scheduling software)
- Deep understanding of food and beverage trends, food safety practices, and budget management
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays, and to work on feet for long periods
- Must possess or be willing/able to secure proper service certification from the state (restrictions apply)
