About the role

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role requires previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. The starting salary for this position is $52,000, with additional compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Department Managers in setting department-specific goals and monitoring progress.
• Hiring, training, and developing Shift Managers and Crew Members to ensure they have the necessary skills.
• Working closely with the local owner/operator to set and achieve restaurant goals.
• Mentoring and providing direction to improve the performance of departments and the restaurant as a whole.
• Ensuring the restaurant maintains a positive environment for both staff and guests.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor others.
