Restaurant Manager

We are seeking an energetic, hands-on Restaurant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and is passionate about creating high-quality meals and memorable experiences for members and guests at the Lutheran Life Villages Independent Living campus on South Anthony Blvd.

Responsibilities

• Help oversee the daily operations of the restaurant while supporting a culture of teamwork, excellence, and hospitality.
• Leading day-to-day restaurant operations with a focus on food quality, safety, timeliness, and member satisfaction.
• Assisting with cooking, meal preparation, and service as needed.
• Preparing fresh foods using standardized recipes, including scratch-made items.
• Monitoring staffing schedules and adjusting staffing levels to support smooth operations.
• Training, mentoring, and cross-training team members using established onboarding programs and organizational values.
• Cooking, serving, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Supporting inventory management and supply monitoring.
• Attending food committee meetings and collaborating closely with leadership.
• Creating a positive, team-focused environment that reflects LLV’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
• Certified Dietary Manager and/or Certified Food Protection certification preferred.
• 3–4 years of food service experience preferred.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
