Responsibilities
- Provide high levels of customer service and create a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
- Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food, service, and dining programs.
- Prepare and execute Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs.
- Review and orient new residents to menus, dining room hours, and dress code.
- Solve issues before they become complaints or problems.
- Document and report resident attendance for meals.
- Train and uphold Quality Enhancement standards.
- Create and enforce cleaning schedules and task lists for staff.
- Maintain dining room cleanliness and ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
- Communicate resident feedback to the kitchen staff and management.
- Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
- Conduct pre-meal stand-up meetings and participate in department meetings.
- Manage schedules and budgets to minimize food waste and ensure fiscal responsibility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two (2) years of experience in front-of-house supervision.
- College or culinary institute degree preferred.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills - Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to carry a tray with at least six (6) meals and/or beverages at any given time.

- Responsible for the overall operations and service of meals in all dining venues of the community.
- Customer Service: Provide high levels of customer service and create a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
- Leadership: Interview, hire, coach, train, and develop wait staff; conduct performance appraisals; assist with special events and communication.
- Communication: Attend and participate in department meetings; communicate resident feedback to the kitchen staff and management.
- Fiscal Responsibility: Manage schedules and budgets to minimize food waste and ensure fiscal responsibility.
Skills
