Restaurant Kitchen Manager

About the role

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar/Thrive Restaurant Group seeks a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen operations and ensure exceptional service in the neighborhoods they serve. The ideal candidate will be a people-centered leader who can inspire others to love hospitality and develop into a strong business professional.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Manage staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff
• Collaborate with other managers to maintain consistent service levels across the restaurant
• Work closely with the General Manager to support overall restaurant operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to manage a team and provide effective supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule
