Restaurant Host - Prime Rib - Philadelphia (Part-time)

Our hosts play a crucial part in creating first impressions, providing a friendly welcome, and guiding guests to their tables with ease.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and thank them for their patronage upon departure.
• Determine seating preferences and guide guests to their tables while engaging in casual conversation.
• Assess and accommodate special needs or requests for groups to ensure a comfortable experience.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls and state gaming agency requirements.
• Answer phones, take messages, and manage reservations accurately.
• Maintain an organized waitlist when necessary and assist with seating efficiency.
• Occasionally assist with bussing tables to expedite seating for waiting guests.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with guests, employees, and third parties to uphold the venue’s reputation and brand.

Requirements

• Must be RAMP certified.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
• Ability to read, write, and record reservations and table assignments accurately.
• Must be able to read, review, and understand seating charts.
• Basic mathematical skills for managing reservations and assignments.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience in a high-volume, service-focused environment.

• Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
