Restaurant Host / Hostess (FT)- DTW Airport

About the role

At SSP America, our Hosts are one of our most important customer service roles. They're experts at making guests' days and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Ensure the work area is clean throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils, remove trash, sweep and mop work area, dust and clean.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

As a Host, here are a few things you can expect:

• Make guests' days.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Process orders quickly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and service standards daily.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

$17.50 per hour.
