About the role

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead our upscale casual dining establishment in Wailea-Makena. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the dining experience and drive operational excellence in our restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a high-quality guest experience
• Manage and mentor staff, fostering a positive team environment
• Implement operational policies and procedures for efficiency
• Monitor financial performance and manage budget to achieve revenue goals
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Develop marketing and promotional strategies to attract patrons
• Resolve guest complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
• Conduct regular inventory management and ordering of supplies
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu quality and innovation
• Analyze business metrics to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, with a focus on upscale casual dining
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in staff training and development
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software
