About the role
The Great Greek is expanding to a new location in Coppell and is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead the operational performance and financial well-being of the restaurant. This role involves hiring, training, and leading staff to uphold the restaurant’s high standards while fostering a fun, fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop short and long-term goals and KPIs for the restaurant
- Manage product inventory and reporting
- Work with R365 to maximize productivity and profit
- Hire, train, and manage employees, conducting periodic performance reviews
- Lead the team in providing exceptional customer service
- Create and maintain a food and beverage budget
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
- Develop and coordinate marketing efforts and community events
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous restaurant management experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
