Restaurant General Manager

About the role

Border Cafe has served the Northeast for 35 years and includes five locations. We operate a high-volume casual dining business known for consistent food quality, strong service standards, and a team culture focused on execution.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations across Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) to consistently meet food, service, and facility standards.
• Recruit, develop, and retain hourly and management talent.
• Coach and lead your team in the moment to drive performance.
• Own your P&L and drive profitable results.

Requirements

• Proven operational leaders with hands-on experience in casual dining at the General Manager or Senior Manager level.
• Passion for quality and a commitment to executing our exacting standards in food, service, and facility management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Naturally assertive and results-driven with a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• Able to own and manage a P&L.
• Experience leading teams to achieve high performance and profitability.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, customers, and vendors.

Pay

$100,000 - $125,000 total earning potential. This role features a strong base salary supplemented by an exciting company profit-sharing program based solely on your team's performance.
